Ackerman & Sons offers only the very finest in furniture upholstery services. We can restore your heirloom settee with the same fine craftsmanship that went into it originally. If you have invested in fine furniture over the years and it is time to update itís look or your moving to a new home or just redecorating, we would love to help you with your fabric selections and upholstery work. Don't be overwhelmed - we have over 4000 hangs samples and hundreds of fabric books to look through. When you have some idea of fabric, pattern, etc. we will send Jim Giroux out to measure and estimate the labor cost to redo your pieces.

We believe in doing things right, which means stripping all the old fabric and findings off and starting at the frame. If the frame needs repaired or reglued it can be done properly first. We retie springs, reweb as needed, and apply only the finest quality foam, cotton, dacron to the inside. No job is too complex - we do diamond tufting, channel backs, and everything unique to a particular piece.
